2018 IS FINALLY HERE

HAPPY 2018 Y’ALL

Congratulations to you all for making it through a terrible, terrible year. I won’t bother to try to sum up world events as the news was absolutely inescapable and equally unforgivable last year. Waking up and looking at my phone still panics me slightly.

On a similarly sad note, this blog is in a slightly dilapidated, lacklustre state because strangely as this is travel themed, there’s a slight need for me to actually travel. Unfortunately, work did not permit this luxury for me in the same way as it has done in the past hence the slight radio silence.

Ok, I did make it to Edinburgh a solid few times, Tenerife, Como, Milan and Brighton… But I did a poor job of keeping track of it. I did post pictures on our Instagram and a few videos on Youtube but I failed miserably at the writing side because I am a bad person.

Believe me when I say that 2018 is going to be different… I haven’t made any resolutions for once, but there are big plans afoot that I am desperate to share with you (once I iron out the details myself). Before I share that with you, I can put out there a few smaller trips that are on the horizon…

  • A French vineyard trip with a weekend in Paris somewhere in the middle (Wine, culture, countryside and more wine – what more could you want?)
  • A weekend in Devon
  • A weekend in Edinburgh
  • A trip to Amsterdam/Amersfoort (last time I went it was absolutely freezing and I am excited to say current plans involve a slightly warmer climate)
  • A potential flying visit to Barcelona
  • General fun in London

I’m also proud to say that I’ve already accomplished a trip to New York for 6 days and a New Years weekend in the Lake District, so I think its off to a pretty good start.

How has the start of your 2018 been? I hope your year is fruitful, free and most of all, fun.

Abi
