Happy Sunday Everyone!
Apologies for the lack of posts recently – to explain, I am currently surrounded by bubble wrap, boxes and bags aka I am in the process of moving house, so things have been a little busy…
Nonetheless this has not stopped me listening to some good music, as I travel around between my work, my house and Ikea. Hence today’s playlist will be slanted to my current travels:
First up, a super cool band that I’ve been following for a while and it seems have finally started to hit the big time, which pleases me greatly. They’re called ‘The Record Company’ and their new song is called ‘Off The Ground’ (you can listen to it here) but the song I want to focus on is one of the first I heard from them a while back. It has a wicked bass line just like their new release, and is pretty damn good.
It’s a live version from a ‘Jam in the Van‘, which I love; I first heard these guys after scouring the internet for every song performed at the Telluride Blues and Brews Fest, which is held in Colorado each year and a festival I am dying to go to. Aka, if you like these guys, I’d definitely check out the other bands that have performed there.

The second song is also skewed towards me… I couldn’t find a link for it on that worked on YouTube, but thankfully it’s on Soundcloud. I know very little about the band, but the song is good. So enjoy…
