Hi everyone, I hope you’ve all had a cracking Easter weekend! In standard Lucy fashion I have spent my four days off work wrecking my body with very little sleep, lots of alcohol and gallivanting around just generally causing mischief. So I’m a little bit broken right now (not as badly as after Contiki, mind). One major highlight of the weekend was my visit to London to spend time with my French Contiki partner-in-crime, Sophie. Her and her boyfriend were visiting for the weekend and I gatecrashed their little romantic break to see her. What was initially supposed to be a quiet lunchtime drink ended up turning into a crazy night out reminiscent of our times in New Zealand. It was so amazing to catch up with her and this is just another reason as to why doing a tour in a foreign country can be so awesome – you make lasting friends from all over the world!
Anyway, as I am writing this on bank holiday Monday, and I have lots more gallivanting to do this post is going to be a short one. A few people have asked if my previous post was the last I’m going to be doing. The answer is a definite no! Despite the fact my Contiki posts have come to an end, I still have to tell you all about my adventures with my brother during LJ and MJ on tour. Over the next few posts I’m going to be regaling you with tales of our time together, including our walk along the Banks Peninsula Track, visit to Mount Cook and glorious few days in Wanaka.
I’be included a few pictures below to whet your appetite.
So, yeah, stay tuned for the Jordan siblings marauding through New Zealand!
