If you’ve never had the want to go to Greenland or Iceland, this film may give you a push in their direction. It may also give you the will to get out of your 9-5 routine and do what you’ve always wanted to.
“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”
I’ve always been a Big Ben Stiller fan. This film and his appearance on Bear Grylls (both hilarious yet inspirational – what a man) accentuated this liking. Especially seeing as he not only directed this, but also starred in it. Not in a “write the theme tune, sing the theme tune, star in the show” kind of way (Little Britain reference there, excuse me) but it gave me personally the impression that “wow, this guy really thinks in the same way that so many of us do. And he’s really doing what he should be.”
If you haven’t seen it, it’s perfect weekend viewing. Or if you’re reading this on another day of the week, it’s equally good then too.
